AlteranCraft takes place in a parallel universe discovered during a freak accident at a research facility in Switzerland. Shortly afterwards, the previously-public research program was shutdown and all material acquired by the secretive Alteran Corporation.

But AlteraCorp isn't the only big player in town, other corporations around the world have gained knowledge and insight of what they are up to thanks to a mixture of industrial espionage, lack of secrecy, and political intrigue.

This all adds up to some sketchy going's on, but ultimately it'll be a fun adventute.
