Alpha Test

Here are some of the items you can expect to uncover during the Alpha testing period:

 

Keeping the portal in an active state was a huge challenge, but making it safe for humans to traverse was a wholy different challenge altogether. With robotics in its infancy, CERN brokered a deal with NASA to form a neutral research subsidiary to test viability of human portal use.

 

Nomad Robotics

These items can only be used when wearing armour issued by Nomad Robotics.

 

Mech Sword

  • Sharpness: Increases damage dealt to targets.
  • Efficiency: Reduces the time inbetween critical strikes.
  • Durability: Can withstand twice the number of uses compared to its vanilla counterpart.


Mech Bow

  • Power: Increases the range and impact force of arrows fired.
  • Precision: Enhances the accuracy of arrows, ensuring they hit targets more reliably.
  • Durability: Can withstand twice the number of uses compared to its vanilla counterpart.


Mech Pickaxe

  • Fortune: Increases the amount of resources gathered from mining actions performed.
  • Voxel Harvesting: Allows for the collection of unique ores, essential in crating unique items.
  • Efficiency: Speeds up mining operations, reducing the time required to break unique blocks.

 

Mech Axe

  • Efficiency: Increases the speed at which the axe cuts through materials, enhancing construction and demolition tasks.
  • Special Ability: ‘Concussion’ delivers damage through armour, ensuring a quick neutralisation of the target.
  • Durability: Can withstand twice the number of uses compared to its vanilla counterpart.

 

Mech Shovel

  • Efficiency: Accelerates the digging process, making excavation faster for construction or research.
  • Fortune: Increases the yield of valuable materials collected during excavation.
  • Voxel Harvesting: Allows for the collection of unique land materials, essential in crating unique items.


Mech ‘Riot Control’ Sword

  • Special Ability: ‘Cesation’ results in permanent damage rendered to the target's armor, making attempts to repair useless.
  • Knockback: Adds knockback effects to attacks, pushing enemies away and creating distance, even through portals.
  • Durability: Can withstand twice the number of uses compared to its vanilla counterpart.

 

Mech ‘Nomad’ Bow

  • Power: Allows for a 100% increase in maximum impact power compared to its vanilla counterpart.
  • Special Ability: ‘Cargo Heist’ results in a chance of the target dropping items from its inventory upon a special arrow hit.
  • Durability: Can withstand twice the number of uses compared to its vanilla counterpart.

 

Mech ‘Prospector’ Pickaxe

  • Special Ability: ‘Land Eruption’ results in damage to the surrounding blocks, thus reducing land clearing time.
  • Voxel Harvesting: Allows for the collection of unique ores, essential in crating unique items.
  • Efficiency: Speeds up mining operations, reducing the time required to break unique blocks.

 

Mech ‘Pulp’ Axe

  • Efficiency: Increases the speed at which the axe cuts through materials, enhancing construction and demolition tasks.
  • Special Ability: ‘Lumber’ causes concussive damage to target trees, resulting in the opportunity to clear an entire tree with one hit.
